Operating Principle
Dosing pumps generally operate with diaphragm or piston-based working principles.
Diaphragm Type
Motor movement is transferred to the diaphragm via an eccentric mechanism. The forward and backward movement of the diaphragm creates suction and discharge phases, and the fluid is transferred in a single direction through check valves.
With this structure:
- chemical and mechanical parts are isolated
- safe chemical transfer is ensured
- precise dosing is achieved
Piston Type
- The piston moves back and forth inside the cylinder, transferring the fluid under high pressure.
Piston systems are preferred for applications requiring:
- higher pressure
- more precise flow control
- more stable injection
Flow rate adjustment is achieved via:
- stroke length
- stroke frequency
