Accumulation Tanks

Buffer tanks are energy storage tanks that store the energy generated in heating and cooling systems, ensuring system balance and absorbing sudden load fluctuations.

They increase efficiency and extend equipment life in boiler, chiller, and heat pump systems.

Technical Specifications

  • Buffer tanks can be manufactured in capacities ranging from 100 liters up to 10,000 liters and above.
  • With an operating pressure range of 6–10 bar and temperature resistance up to 110°C, they offer a wide range of applications.
  • System water is stored directly within the tank and supplied back to the system based on energy demand.
  • This helps reduce temperature fluctuations and ensures more stable system operation.

Design & Material

  • Tank volume is determined based on system capacity, ΔT value, and total water volume.
  • Body options are available in carbon steel or stainless steel, while polyurethane or mineral wool insulation ensures low heat loss.
  • Vertical or horizontal design alternatives provide flexibility to suit different mechanical room layouts.
